Collaborative work on malleable software

Experts being overconfident in their ability to handle risks are indeed an issue, but I think an orthogonal one. It happens in other domains as well. I have seen licensed electricians do things that they recommend everyone else not to even consider doing. And I have seen some resulting accidents as well.

So my feeling is that if Glamorous/Lepiter ever hits the bigtime,

I am confident that this will never happen. Like its ancestor, Smalltalk, its main impact will be influencing the mainstream of tomorrow, which will be inferior in many ways, but also integrate good ideas from many other sources into a unified set of tools and practices.
